Why don't I see some places on the map?

PassportMap shows the places your memberships cover, so a place your memberships don't get you into stays off the map. To see everything, tap the Memberships filter on the map or in Nearby and turn off Only show attractions included with my memberships. The rest appear in grey.

How do I get Pro on a new iPhone or iPad?

Pro belongs to the store account that bought it. Sign in with the same Apple Account, open the Pro upgrade in PassportMap and choose Restore purchases. Pro bought on the App Store doesn't carry over to Android, or the other way round, because PassportMap has no accounts of its own.

How do I cancel Pro?

Subscriptions are managed by the store. On iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. On Android, open Google Play, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Deleting the app doesn't cancel it. When Pro ends, your trips, cards and visits stay in the app.

How do I move my memberships, cards and trips to a new phone?

Through your phone's own backup. PassportMap keeps everything on your device, and iCloud Backup (iPhone) or Google's backup (Android) includes it. Set up the new phone from that backup and PassportMap comes over with everything in it.

An attraction's details are wrong.

Please tell us which one and what's wrong. Networks publish their lists on their own schedule, so a change can take a while to show up in their list, but we'll fix what we can sooner.

My museum isn't in PassportMap.

PassportMap lists the attractions in six reciprocal networks. If your museum isn't in any of them, its membership may not include reciprocal benefits, so ask them. If it is in a network we've missed, email us.

How do I delete my data?

Remove a membership to delete it and its card photos, delete a trip from its menu, or unmark a visit on the attraction's page. Deleting the app removes everything it stored on your phone. There's nothing on our side to delete, because nothing is sent to us. The Privacy Policy has the details.

Is PassportMap part of ASTC, NARM or the other networks?

No. PassportMap is an independent app made by BP Labs, and it isn't affiliated with or endorsed by any network or attraction. We read each network's published list and turn it into one map, with each network's rules attached.

Do I need an account?

No. There's no sign-in and nothing to sign up for. Your memberships, card photos, trips and visits are kept on your phone, and your phone's own backup (iCloud or Google) carries them to a new one.

What is the 90-mile rule?

ASTC's Travel Passport doesn't apply at a science center within 90 miles of your home or of the place you're a member of, measured in a straight line. PassportMap works it out for you and leaves those places off the map unless you ask to see them. The other networks have rules of their own, and PassportMap handles those too.

How current are the lists?

Each network publishes its list on its own schedule, and PassportMap is updated as they do. The lists in the app today:

  • NARM North American Reciprocal Museum Association, Jun 2026
  • ROAM Reciprocal Organization of Associated Museums, Sep 2026
  • Time Travelers Time Travelers, Sep 2026
  • AHS American Horticultural Society, Aug 2026
  • ASTC Association of Science & Technology Centers, Aug 2026
  • AZA Association of Zoos and Aquariums, Aug 2026

Attractions change their policies between lists, so call ahead before a long drive.

Does it work without a signal?

Mostly. Every attraction is built into the app and your card photos are stored on your phone, so looking up a place and showing your card both work offline. The map itself and trip planning need a connection.

Which phones does it run on?

iPhone and iPad. Android is in testing and coming soon to Google Play.
